Catching Up On The Blog..

I think it is really hard for me to sit down and prepare something for my blog.. I would like to share a mini session I did about a month or so ago along with a fall special that I still have a handful of slots left for!

Happy Happy Joy Joy!

Reanimated Studios is growing in several ways. Still a very small buisness but now we are offering even more to our clients! The first thing I would like to announce that we will be carrying Poppy Tree Frames! Squeal!! They offer SEVERAL Printed patterns as well as wonderful solid colors. I am going to be ordering some of these frames for my mantle and should be able to share a picture of my before naked brick fireplace and a beautiful after with pops of colors and beautiful images! I can not wait to share!

K And A Engagement Session

It is always a lot of fun doing an engagement session for someone you know and love. I had the pleasure of doing K's and I can not wait to do her bridals. I will not be doing her wedding because it looks like I am in the wedding ;)

This is my photo of the day from yesterday. I am really TRYING to post everyday but with a little one toddling around it makes it hard to get back into the studio to download and post. I pick up my camera everyday, that has to count for something!

Stay Cute.

So today was the mark of 9 months with Lillan. The thing I love about her is that she has such personality. She is sweet and she is smart; she want to be such a big girl. She never stops moving and she it the least picky eater I have EVER met. She has yet to turn down any food we have let her try. She like lint too ;) I still can't believe she is ours. My wish is that she grows up to be a joy to everyone who meets her and is in her life, she will always be a joy to me.

I have an obsession for cupcakes and sprinkles and sweets and whimsy.. yep. This cupcake keeps looking at me with her cute little sprinkles. She may not be real but she lasts a lot longer anyway! Day 17

I know you are supposed to wait at least a month before you take photos each month but being that I am always around my studio...and my baby girl...I can't help it!

Sweet potatoes and sweet babies.

I think I love being a mom. I know my daughter must think I am nuts sometimes when I let her get all messy and dont freak out. The things we do for FUN. Here is Day 16 photo 2 to make up for my long absence.

O, how sweet!

Tomorrow I will be doing some very special sessions for some ladies. First of all, it is always such a pleasure when someone trusts you with there photo sessions. But...a session of this caliber!? These are going to be amazing. Day 15 is a photo inspired by some of the goodness no doubt, tomorrow will hold.

Day 14 just so happens to be something I am working on. I will eventually have gorgeous frames all over the studio with my work in it, but until then, I am collecting some shots piece by piece that I have done that I am fond of.

Lillian at 8 months.

I didn't get any of her in the studio but this is about the same time last month that I took a few of her. She is quite the cutie.

The small wonders.

I love looking at life the way a small baby does. Full of wonder and fearless. She was very curious about the puppies outside after we came in from sitting on the back porch. I might add; it was super weird to be so warm and mild if FEBRUARY!! I took a couple of shots I love but I had to pick just one for day 12. Here it is!

Socks to be you!

Today I picked up some socks that will make some very nice leggies that my sister and I will sell with our bows and tutus. I kind of wish I were a little girl! Day 12.

Even shadows are beautiful.

This week has been a really up and down week for me. One thing I learned today, is that perspective can certainly change your outlook be it positive or negative. In ways I can't explain, I felt in "shadows" this week. Though shadows don't always get a focal point they could still help make a picture beautiful. Ok, you can say shut up Rachel. Here is Day 11.

Too many hobbies.

So, I have a few things I really love doing. Photography firstly.. then there is hair, scentsy, and bow making in no particular order. They all kind of intertwine in one studio and I couldn't be more happy to say I love my job. Well, jobs! I was working on a custom order of 20 bows and once I got done I was playing with colors and a few new bows for the Razzmatazz line. Thought this could be my Photo of the day. Day 10.

The two things that make me smile.

Tonight was just any easy photograph to take,it may not be technical or pleasing to all, but it is special to me. I love that my husband gets on the floor to play with my daughter and she loves it too. Day 9 ( I couldn't choose one)

Alyssa and a puppy.

Too sweet not to post, I had a cute little mini session last weekend I just finished up and I have to share a few of my favorites. Alyssa is a sweetie and so is the pooch!

My favorite kitchen gadget is kitschy.

I was in Target with a dear friend tonight and we were talking about our weakness when it come to buying things we may not need but love. Mine is anything baby (of course) and KITCHEN GADGETS! I LOVE my mixer! It is apple green and matched quite alot of my other kitchen utensils. So, here is day 7!

Hair it is!

One of my favorite things to do besides photography is HAIR! So this is my picture for day 6!

TRYING to take paws...

Well, I tried. Lillian and Sierra are just too fast tonight and I am just too tired. This was the best picture that was taken out of all of them..it is kind of cute. I do love puppy paws and baby fingers ;) This is day 5's photo.

Frilly Girly things

On top of doing photography, I also work on bows and hand-made goodies for Razzmatazz Unique Boutique. My sister Rhonda and I started it not too long ago and we are looking forward to future craft fairs. Day four is a picture of a custom order I made.
